Early contender for goal of the season

I watched this one at Slainte with Julie. I like going to soccer bars with my cousin. I don't like going to soccer bars where I'm the only Spurs supporter and there are 20 Arsenal supporters who don't even have a game to watch in the 2nd half (since they were up 15 million to zero). Thankfully, my liking of going to bars with my cousin trumps my hatred of the Arsenal crew, so I will continue to go. As Julie noted, at least the person to my right (Julie) and the person to my left (random dude) were very easy to deal with.

  1. Same story in Denver except we had three Spurs Fans. My buddy Jon and his brother Ian from Virginia Beach were running the show at the Bulldog on Saturday and Jon escorted us to the top of the bar. Not sure if he wanted us away from the 15 or so Gooners or was genuinely interested in letting us move to an area which would allow us to hear the match, but I remaked that across the World that's probably the nicest thing a Gooner did to a bunch of Yids in the last five minutes.

During the match, I was showing Pete's text to the lads and one of them remarked how great ot was to have family on the East Coast who loves Spurs. I replied, "it's great, but my brother and sister, who I'm otherwise very close with, support Arsenal."

    "Oh, that's too bad."

The way I look at it, being a Redskins fan is much better having the Cowboys around.

  2. BTW, Jon and Ian are Arsenal supporters and were wearing their shorts on Saturday. Not sure if that was clear in the previous post.
